Article Formatting Instructions

1. Guide for Article Writing The official language of the journal is Persian. Therefore, an English abstract must also be included, and it is preferable to use Persian words to express scientific concepts. The article must be free of spelling errors or grammatical issues. Footnotes should not be included in the abstract, and obscure words should be footnoted upon their first appearance in the text.

2. The article must not have been published in any domestic journals previously or submitted simultaneously to other journals, and the academic rank of all authors must be accurately stated, with all authors being aware of the submission and publication of the article.

3. The author/authors must submit two folders (files) of their article, with and without names and details, along with a request letter for publication, to the journal's website.

4. Proper nouns and terms that are abbreviated in the text, tables, etc., must be well-known international abbreviations, and their full forms should be written once in the text along with the abbreviation in parentheses.

5. The submitted charts, images, and tables must be of full clarity for printing, with the number and title of tables stated above them and for charts stated below them.

6. The article should be prepared in Word format on A4 paper size with 2 cm margins on each side and 1 line spacing, typed in Persian with the B Nazanin font size 12, and in English with the Times New Roman font size 11, and submitted to the journal.

7. The responsibility for the accuracy of the content lies with the author of the article.

8. The journal reserves the right to reject, accept, modify, edit, and summarize articles, and submitted articles along with their attachments will not be returned.

 

Formatting the Article Pages

Persian Title Page

The title of the article should be short (maximum 15 words), containing the general topic and the researcher’s orientation on that topic, and should align with the article's text. In qualitative studies, the title should also reflect the phenomenon under study and be based on experience.

The name of the author(s) should be mentioned below the title of the article, and the authors' details (academic rank, field, department, faculty, university, city, country) should be listed below that.

The corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk (*) and their email should be provided.

 

English Title Page

All details mentioned on the Persian title page should be translated and included on the English title page.

 

Abstract

The abstract of the article (both Persian and English) should be organized on separate pages, consisting of 250 to 300 words without citing sources and abbreviations, representing all concepts and elements of the article, and structured as follows: At the end of the abstract, keywords (3 to 5 words) should be provided.

Introduction: This section should be a maximum of two to three sentences regarding the necessity of conducting the study or a summary review of the literature in this regard.

Objective: A clear, measurable sentence (in quantitative studies) or achievable should be used consistently throughout the article.

Method: It should include general information about the type of study, population and sample, method and tools for data collection, and the time and type of intervention.

Findings: In quantitative studies, findings should be presented according to the objective, categorized by study groups with the statistical tests used, along with results and confidence intervals. In qualitative studies, categories, themes, or concepts and a brief, relevant, and clarifying explanation of the findings related to the phenomenon under study should be presented.

Conclusion: This section should not repeat the findings of the research. It should summarize the final findings along with recommendations, applications of the findings, or results in nursing.

Keywords: A maximum of 5 main keywords, the Persian and English abstracts should match. Keywords in the Persian abstract should be written in Persian and in the English abstract in English.
